Free from desire, you realize the mystery.
Caught in desire, you see only the manifestations.

The gateway to all understanding.

Section Seventy-eight

Nothing in the world
is as soft and yielding as water.
Yet for dissolving the hard and inflexible,
nothing can surpass it.

The soft overcomes the hard;
the gentle overcomes the rigid.

he is people’s greatest help.

Wong Shun Leung referred to it constantly in his teachings.  Bruce Lee’s Tao of Jeet Kune Do and his most famous interviews are stuffed with quotations.

I feel like I barely have one toe in the water of the Tao.
